Rotary Clubs in Brazil elect new presidents for 2026‑27 term

The Rotary Club of Curitiba held its fourth ordinary meeting of the 2026‑2027 administration on 23 May. The session, chaired by pediatrician Chang Yen‑Li Chain, featured a lecture on the life and work of artist Guido Viaro and recognized senior member Rui de Almeida Valente for more than 35 years of service.

In Brasília, journalist and entrepreneur Hamilton Silva was sworn in as president of the Rotary Club of Brasília O Pioneiro for the 2026‑2027 term, succeeding José Fernando Vilela. Silva pledged to expand partnerships and continue the club’s community projects in education, health and social assistance.
