Rotary Clubs in Uruguay and Argentina Hold Leadership Transfers
Noemí Pérez was sworn in as president of the Rotary Club Costa del Inmigrante in Uruguay, succeeding Loy Riva. The ceremony on June 27 also marked the formal induction of four new female members—María Ethel Pérez Curbelo, Nelly Cabrera, Milka Shannon, and Micaela García—along with transfer member Mariana Gavidia Lagos.
In Argentina, the Rotary Club Venado Tuerto Cincuentenario completed its leadership handover for the 2026‑2027 term, appointing Miguel Ángel Ávila as president under the international theme “Generate a Lasting Impact.” The event featured local government representatives and Rotary members, and the new board includes vice‑president Analia Sangiácomo, secretary Susana Estévez, treasurer Julián All, and other officers.
Both clubs emphasized continued community service and the strengthening of projects that benefit their respective localities.
