Rouen man confesses to pharmacy and bakery burglaries

A 47-year-old man from Rouen has been arrested and has confessed to several recent burglaries in the city. The investigation began following a break-in at a pharmacy on Rue de la République on August 4.

Using surveillance footage, police identified the suspect, who was taken into custody on August 6. During questioning, the man admitted to the pharmacy robbery and confessed to several other recent burglaries, including thefts at local bakeries. He has been referred to the Rouen judicial court for immediate appearance.
