Roxana Rubio Tops PAN Preference Poll for Sinaloa Governorship

Local deputy Roxana Rubio emerged as the leading PAN candidate for the upcoming Sinaloa governorship, securing 22% support in the latest Trend poll conducted in June 2026. She outpaced fellow PAN contenders Eduardo Ortiz, who received 15%, and Wendy Barajas with 14%.

The phone survey sampled 978 adults statewide between June 15 and 29, reporting a margin of error of ±3.8% and a 95% confidence level. Nearly half of respondents (49%) chose "other," "don’t know" or did not answer. Rubio’s numbers reflect a steady rise over recent months, moving from 15% in January to 22% in June. The poll comes as PAN intensifies its presence in Sinaloa ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election, focusing on issues such as security, the economy, and public services.
