Royal Artistic Festival kicks off in Gniezno with performances by Kuba i Kuba, Małgorzata Ostrowska and top Polish rappn

The Royal Artistic Festival opened on St. Wojciech's Square in Gniezno, drawing a sizable crowd despite hot weather. The first day featured the indie duo Kuba i Kuba (Kuba Mieczaj and Jakub Frankowski) and veteran singer Małgorzata Ostrowska, who celebrated 45 years on stage. Attendees enjoyed live music, food‑truck stations and activities for younger visitors.

On Saturday, the festival continued with rap concerts by Zippy Ogar, Kękę and Paluch. Each act attracted growing numbers of mostly young fans, filling the square for the evening’s final show. The event was organized by the Municipal Cultural Centre and the City of Gniezno, with sponsorship from Drukarnia Majorczyk and the Gniezno Cooperative Bank.
