Royal Caribbean launches Legend of the Seas mega-ship

Royal Caribbean has introduced the Legend of the Seas, the third vessel in its Icon Class, marking a significant expansion in the cruise industry. The ship measures 365 meters in length with a gross tonnage of 250,800 tons and can accommodate up to 7,600 passengers and approximately 2,350 crew members across 18 decks.

In the Mediterranean, the ship is operating seven-night rotations departing from Barcelona, with stops in Civitavecchia, La Spezia, and Palma de Mallorca. In North America, the vessel is scheduled to make its debut on November 8, 2026, departing from Miami and visiting Coco Cay. Onboard features include a large-scale water park, approximately 30 dining and bar venues, and new entertainment offerings such as a production of Roald Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.
