Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas launch

Overview

Royal Caribbean has introduced the Legend of the Seas, the third vessel in its Icon Class. The mega-ship measures 365 meters in length and can accommodate up to 7,600 passengers and approximately 2,350 crew members across 18 decks.

In the Mediterranean, the ship is operating seven-night rotations departing from Barcelona. In North America, the vessel is scheduled to debut on November 8, 2026, departing from Miami. Onboard features include a large-scale water park, approximately 30 dining and bar venues, and entertainment such as a production of Roald Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.

As the ship prepares for its debut, travelers have been advised regarding specific onboard traditions, such as an unofficial seafood buffet at Windjammer on embarkation day. Additionally, passengers have been cautioned that there is no official schedule to meet the ship’s Golden Retriever, Skipper, to avoid causing the animal stress.
