Royal Commission for Riyadh City closes Real Estate Balance Program applications

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has announced the conclusion of the application period for the second year of the Real Estate Balance Program. The application window, which opened on August 16, 2026, officially closed on September 15, 2026.

The Commission is now entering the eligibility verification phase, utilizing electronic integration with relevant authorities to validate applicant data. Results regarding eligibility will be announced via the Real Estate Balance platform on September 30, 2026. Applicants may submit appeals starting October 1, 2026.

To qualify, applicants must be Saudi nationals, either married or at least 25 years old, have no prior property ownership, and have resided in Riyadh for at least three years. Following the verification and appeal processes, an electronic lottery will be conducted for eligible participants to proceed with off-plan sales procedures.

Implemented under the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the program aims to stabilize the real estate sector by increasing the supply of planned residential lands. The initiative seeks to provide between 10,000 and 40,000 land plots annually at prices not exceeding 1,500 SAR per square meter to bridge the gap between supply and demand.
