Royal Enfield announces custom Shotgun 650 edition and new Himalayan 440

Royal Enfield is expanding its product lineup with two distinct motorcycle developments. The company has launched a highly exclusive, limited edition of the Shotgun 650, created in collaboration with the Taiwanese design studio Rough Crafts. Known as the “Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts,” only 100 units will be produced globally, with just 25 allocated for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. The custom model features a “Jet Black” and “Stealth Black” livery accented with gold leaf, brass emblems, and genuine leather seating.

Additionally, Royal Enfield is preparing to introduce the Himalayan 440, scheduled for presentation on September 4, 2026, in Leh, Ladakh. Unlike the technologically advanced, liquid-cooled Himalayan 450, the 440 model aims to capture the simplicity and affordability of the original Himalayan series. It is expected to utilize the LS440 air-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Scram 440, prioritizing ease of use and value over high-performance specifications.
