Royal Enfield commemorates 125th anniversary and posts 37% sales increase in May 2026

Royal Enfield marked its 125th anniversary at the historic Hunt End Works site in Redditch, England, unveiling a World Origin Site plaque. The ceremony was attended by TV personality Richard Hammond, Redditch Mayor Susan Eacock, local community members and former plant workers. The brand displayed motorcycles from five generations, including a replica of the 1901 model, a restored 1932 Bullet and the upcoming 125th Anniversary Edition Classic 650 slated for European release.

In May 2026 the company reported total sales of 1,04,129 units, a 37% year‑on‑year rise and a 4% month‑on‑month increase. The Classic 350 led with 37,967 units (42% YoY growth), followed by the Bullet 350 (25,040 units, 52% YoY) and the Hunter 350 (21,947 units, 21% YoY). The newly launched Guerrilla 450 surged 169% YoY to 2,474 units. While the 650 Twin grew 30% YoY, premium models such as the Super Meteor and Shotgun saw double‑digit declines. Overall, the strong performance reflects robust demand for Royal Enfield’s 350cc lineup and the brand’s enduring global appeal.
