Royal Enfield hits record sales in September 2026

Royal Enfield has reported record sales for September 2026, with total unit sales reaching 133,958, representing an increase of approximately 8% compared to the previous year. This growth was primarily driven by the below-350cc segment, which saw a 13.04% year-on-year increase. Domestic sales in India accounted for roughly 90.57% of the total volume, while exports grew by 17.45%.

Despite the record volume, Eicher Motors' stock faced downward pressure, falling 2.5% to 6,975.00 INR. The market reaction is attributed to the sales figures falling short of some analyst expectations, which had anticipated volumes exceeding 135,000 units. Additionally, the company saw a significant 26.04% year-on-year decline in the premium segment consisting of motorcycles above 350cc, including models such as the Himalayan and the 650 Twins.
