Royal Enfield launches Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India
Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India, a special motorcycle model inspired by the legacy of the Gorkha Regiment. The new edition is finished in a distinctive Gorkha Green colourway and features a bespoke insignia of crossed Khukris.
Technically, the motorcycle retains the refined J-series engine and upright riding posture of the standard Classic 350, while adding modern features such as an assist and slipper clutch and a Type-C USB fast charging port. The launch also included the introduction of a Gorkha-inspired apparel collection.
Chief Commercial Officer Yadvinder Singh Guleria stated that the edition pays tribute to the military legacy of the regiment, while Lieutenant General Sanjeev Chauhan, President of the Gorkha Brigade, noted the significance of acknowledging the regiment's values of courage and discipline. Bookings for the new model have commenced at authorized dealerships.
