Royal Enfield launches new motorcycle model and kicks off racing season

In Japan, the company has launched the 2026 model of the Goan Classic 350, a Bobber-style motorcycle featuring a 349cc single-cylinder engine. The new model includes technical upgrades such as an assist and slipper clutch and USB Type-C charging. Dealers in Tokyo report strong demand, particularly for the Rave Red and Shack Black color options, with many customers opting for the premium trim despite the minimal price difference.

In India, the sixth season of the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup commenced at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. The 2026 season introduces a new format where Amateur riders compete on GT-R650 platforms and Professional riders use GT-R750 platforms. In the opening round, Kabir Sahoch dominated the Amateur category, while Senthil Kumar secured consistent podium finishes in the Professional category. The second round of the cup is scheduled for October.
