Royal Enfield launches updated Continental GT 650 in India

Royal Enfield has officially launched the updated Continental GT 650 in India, introducing cosmetic enhancements and new functional features to its popular cafe racer flagship. The updated model aims to strengthen the company’s position in the 500cc to 800cc midweight motorcycle segment.

Key updates include a black-painted instrument pod cowl for a sharper appearance, all-new LED turn indicators for improved visibility, and a standard USB Type-C fast-charging port. The motorcycle features a twin-pod semi-digital instrument cluster with an integrated LCD screen.

The 648cc parallel-twin engine remains, producing 47.4 PS of power and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. New aesthetic options include a ‘Rocker Red’ colorway with blacked-out engine and exhaust components, alongside existing variants such as Apex Grey, British Racing Green, and Mr. Clean. Prices for the new variants start at approximately ₹3.58 lakh, with higher-end models reaching up to ₹3.87 lakh (ex-showroom).
