Royal Enfield previews 2026 Continental GT 750 launch and unveils custom Interceptor 650 bobber

Royal Enfield is expected to introduce the Continental GT 750, a premium cafe‑racer for the Indian market, in the final quarter of 2026. The model will replace the 650‑cc platform with an all‑new 750 cc parallel‑twin engine delivering roughly 50‑55 bhp and 65 Nm of torque, paired with a six‑speed slip‑and‑assist clutch. Anticipated specifications include upside‑down front forks, twin‑shock rear, dual‑channel ABS, full LED lighting, TFT digital display and Bluetooth connectivity. The bike is projected to retail for about ₹3.80‑3.90 lakh ex‑showroom.

In a separate showcase, Mumbai‑based custom shop Mean Green Custom transformed a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 into a low‑slung bobber. The project involved cutting the factory sub‑frame, lowering the rear section, lengthening the swingarm and fitting 18‑inch wheels with Shinko E‑270 tyres. The custom build retains the Interceptor’s double‑cradle chassis while adding a solo seat and hand‑rolled fenders, creating a distinct bobber aesthetic.
