Royal Enfield showcases Himalayan 750 in India

Royal Enfield has showcased the Himalayan 750 motorcycle for the first time in India at the Himalayan Base Camp in Leh, Ladakh. The upcoming model will utilize a new 750cc parallel-twin platform, which is expected to deliver approximately 55bhp and 60Nm of torque, providing a performance increase over the existing 650cc platform.

The Himalayan 750 features a rugged design with a round LED headlight, a muscular fairing, a tall windscreen, and a large fuel tank. Technical specifications include a round TFT console with smartphone connectivity and Google Maps navigation, ride-by-wire throttle with cruise control, and adjustable suspension. While an official launch date has not been announced, expectations point toward an international debut at EICMA 2026 and an Indian launch at Motoverse 2026.

In the current market, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is available in India starting at Rs 2.29 lakh. It features a 443cc air-cooled single engine producing 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm. Competitors in this segment include the TVS Apache RTX 300, Suzuki V-Strom SX, KTM 250 Adventure, and the Yezdi Adventure.
