Rozwój Plus shifts focus from forming a party to developing an association

The political group Rozwój Plus, associated with former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, has shifted its strategy regarding formal organization. While Morawiecki previously indicated that a new political party would be established by October 15, lawmaker Robert Gontarz stated that the group is now prioritizing the development of an association instead.

Gontarz explained that the association model allows the movement to engage a broader range of people who wish to cooperate but are hesitant to formally join a political party. This shift follows the formation of a parliamentary club consisting of over 40 MPs, many of whom previously belonged to PiS.

In a separate social media development, MP Łukasz Schreiber appeared in a video for Rozwój Plus assembling a sofa to demonstrate the group's willingness to work. The video drew mixed reactions from social media users, with some mocking the group as a ‘sofa party’.
