Germany: Various companies and cities launch 2026 vocational training programs

Various German companies and municipal administrations have launched their 2026 vocational training and dual study programs.

In Heilbronn, the city administration welcomed 91 new trainees, students, and interns across 30 different professions, with a significant focus on the social sector. The city is also expanding its portfolio to include new dual study programs in areas such as Social Work and Digital Business Management.

Private sector entities are also reporting significant intakes. The R+S Group welcomed 47 new apprentices and dual students across multiple locations including Fulda and Leipzig. TQ-Group started training for 18 new apprentices in technical and commercial roles, while Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt welcomed 29 newcomers. Other companies, including Uzin Utz, Überlandwerk Rhön, and Radlmaier, have also commenced training programs for their new technical and administrative staff.
