RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visits Jodhpur for organizational meetings

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat is conducting an organizational tour of Rajasthan, including a visit to Jodhpur. During his visit, Bhagwat interacted with Laghu Udyog Bharati office-bearers and is scheduled to hold discussions with Sangh office bearers regarding organizational matters.

This visit follows recent remarks made by Bhagwat in London, where he discussed the concepts of ‘Hindu’ and ‘Hindu Rashtra’. He stated that the concept of ‘Hindu’ encompasses diverse schools of thought and diversity, rather than being strictly a religion or a form of worship. Bhagwat explained that the purpose of a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is to demonstrate to the world that ‘diversity is a natural, unity is truth’. He further distinguished the concept of ‘Rashtra’ from a nation-state, noting that while a nation-state is often based on language or governance models, a Rashtra is driven by a primary purpose.
