RTX secures 729 million USD in drone defense orders

RTX has secured new drone defense orders totaling 729 million USD. Through its Raytheon division, the company is supplying LIDS drone defense system components to the US Army, Qatar, and Jordan. These contracts represent the first international sales for the KuRFS sensors and Coyote interceptor systems.

To meet demand, RTX is expanding production capacities, having quadrupled production over the last 18 months with plans to double it again. The company is also advancing the Coyote Block 2C+RM variant, which features a tactical rocket motor and improved seeker technology, following successful development tests.
