Ruben Amorim blocks Pervis Estupinan transfers to Benfica and Aston Villa

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim blocked the transfer of defender Pervis Estupinan during the summer transfer window. Despite interest from Aston Villa in July and multiple attempts by Benfica in late August, Amorim decided to retain the former Brighton player as a key component of his technical project.

Following a disappointing previous season, Estupinan had initially been placed on Milan's transfer list. However, Amorim requested to evaluate the player personally during the summer tour and training sessions before making a final decision. After deciding to keep him, Estupinan has transitioned from a potential departure to a starter, appearing in the lineup for matches against Torino and Juventus.
