Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah clash over child‑support payments in Indonesian media

Indonesian presenter Ruben Onsu and his former wife Sarwendah have been locked in a public dispute over child‑support. Onsu halted a monthly payment of roughly IDR 200 million, prompting Sarwendah to state she no longer needs the money, claiming she can earn it from TikTok livestreams.

Onsu responded on TikTok, saying Sarwendah would not behave that way unless “provoked by outsiders,” and defended his actions by recalling their 11‑year marriage. The argument has sparked a wave of commentary on social media.

Separately, a local fortune‑teller, Wirang Birawa, predicted that Onsu will eventually reunite with his children and find happiness, while suggesting the public will eventually judge the parties’ true character.
