Ruben Onsu Counters Sarwendah's Solo Child Support Plan, Discloses $720,000 Home Renovation Costs

Ruben Onsu, through his lawyer Minola Sebayang, responded to Sarwendah’s decision to independently fund their children’s needs. The attorney said the father retains both financial obligations and visitation rights, noting that Sarwendah has not provided a detailed list of the children’s expenses, which is why he has not made payments.

Separately, Minola disclosed that Onsu spent approximately Rp11.3 billion (about $720,000) on renovating the house they once shared. The breakdown includes 47 transfers covering a Rp504 million lift, a Rp400 million air‑conditioning system, and roughly Rp3 billion in furniture, all paid by Onsu to clarify the financial contributions after their divorce.
