Ruben Onsu readies evidence for child‑custody hearing as meeting with ex‑wife cancelled

Ruben Onsu’s lawyer, Minola Sebayang, said the legal team has prepared evidence for the first child‑custody hearing scheduled for 15 July 2026 in South Jakarta District Court. The initial session will verify the parties’ presence, confirm legal standing and may lead the judge to order mediation.

A meeting that had been arranged for 11 July 2026 between Onsu and his former wife, Sarwendah, was called off at Sarwendah’s request after Onsu formally filed the custody suit on 30 June 2026. Sarwendah’s counsel explained the cancellation, stating that all discussions should take place during the court‑ordered mediation.
