Ruben Onsu urges KPAI to investigate Sarwendah over alleged child exploitation

An old interview of Indonesian entertainer Ruben Onsu went viral, highlighting a dispute with his former partner Sarwendah over finances and a newly built house. The couple, currently in a child‑custody conflict, have exchanged accusations on social media.

Ruben Onsu's legal team has asked the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) to prioritize a probe into claims that Sarwendah involved their children in live‑stream sales, constituting possible child exploitation. The attorney said KPAI had not disclosed a prior complaint from Sarwendah regarding child support, and stressed that any investigation should focus first on the exploitation allegation.

Both parties have approached KPAI, with Sarwendah also filing a complaint on child‑support matters. The dispute remains under the commission's review.
