Rubicone Peace March to promote nonviolence in Italy

The spontaneous committee ‘I passi della pace’ is organizing the first Rubicone Peace March, scheduled for Saturday, October 3. The event aims to promote nonviolence and peace, traversing the territories of Gatteo, San Mauro Pascoli, and Savignano sul Rubicone.

Supported by the three participating municipalities and the Unione Rubicone e Mare, the march serves as the 169th stage of the ‘Giro d’Italia per la Pace’ promoted by the Perugia Assisi Foundation. The initiative has garnered support from approximately 70 entities, including associations, parishes, and local institutions, as well as the bishops of the Rimini and Cesena-Sarsina dioceses.

The route begins in Gatteo at 14:30, with a six-kilometer path that includes a stop in San Mauro Pascoli around 16:00.
