Rubrik partners with Amazon Bedrock to govern autonomous AI agents

Rubrik announced that its Rubrik Agent Cloud will integrate with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, adding a governance layer that gives security teams visibility and control over autonomous AI agents. The integration introduces features such as the SAGE policy engine, Agent Inventory for mapping deployed agents, Agent Rewind to undo destructive actions, and a Unified AI Control Pane for centralized policy management.

The company also unveiled Rubrik AI, an extension of its Security Cloud platform that automates security and recovery processes using an agent‑centric approach. Rubrik AI continuously evaluates data, identities and AI agents, orchestrates workflows to accelerate incident response, and provides mechanisms to mitigate risks from both external AI‑driven attacks and internal agent malfunctions.
