Rugby Australia announces historic quadruple-header in Sydney

Rugby Australia has announced a historic quadruple-header event scheduled for October 17 at Accor Stadium in Sydney. The event will feature four international matches involving Australia’s elite male and female players in both XVs and Sevens formats.

The lineup begins with the Wallaroos hosting Scotland in a WXV Global Series match. This will be followed by the Australian men’s sevens team facing Fiji, and the Australian women’s sevens team competing against New Zealand. The day will conclude with the Wallabies facing the New Zealand All Blacks in a Bledisloe Cup test match.

Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh described the occasion as an “historic moment” that showcases the best of the sport by bringing all four of Australia’s “Teams In Gold” to the same pitch on a single day.
