Australia and New Zealand rugby international fixtures
Overview
Rugby Australia and New Zealand Rugby have announced several historic international fixtures for late 2026.
In Sydney, Rugby Australia will host a quadruple-header event on October 17 at Accor Stadium. The event features four international matches involving Australia’s elite male and female players in both XVs and Sevens formats, including a WXV Global Series match between the Wallaroos and Scotland, sevens matches involving Fiji and New Zealand, and a Bledisloe Cup test match between the Wallabies and the All Blacks. CEO Phil Waugh described the event as an “historic moment” for the sport.
Additionally, a historic women’s under-21 international fixture has been scheduled for October 31 at One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch. This match between the New Zealand Under 21 team and the Australia NextGen side marks the first time either nation has assembled a national women’s age-grade fifteens team for an international fixture. The match will be held as a double-header alongside the Black Ferns’ third Test against France.
