Rui Hachimura seeks new role with LA Clippers after Lakers departure

Rui Hachimura has transitioned from the Los Angeles Lakers to the LA Clippers, seeking increased offensive responsibilities and a larger role within the team. During his three and a half seasons with the Lakers, Hachimura established himself as a highly efficient shooter, maintaining high percentages from both the three-point line and mid-range.

In his first appearance at Crypto.com Arena as a member of the Clippers, Hachimura interacted warmly with former teammates, including Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic. Despite the move to a rival franchise, the atmosphere remained positive, marked by a standing ovation from Lakers fans during his introduction.

Hachimura noted that while his previous role was often as a complementary player to stars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, he is prepared to adapt his game to the Clippers' system and expand his repertoire.
