Russia captures Nikolaipolie and Matiashevo in Donetsk

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its armed forces have seized control of the settlements of Nikolaipolie and Matiashevo in the Donetsk region. These operations were carried out by the Center and South groups of Russian troops.

In a single day of combat, Russian air defenses reportedly intercepted 1,504 drones and 11 guided glide bombs. The military also reported significant casualties among Ukrainian forces, estimating approximately 1,390 personnel losses. Additionally, the report cited the destruction of Ukrainian military equipment, including 16 armored vehicles, 13 artillery pieces, 83 military vehicles, and four electronic warfare stations.
