Russia grain harvest exceeds 100 million tons, Putin says
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the country's grain harvest has exceeded 100 million tons this year. Speaking on the occasion of the professional holiday for workers in agriculture and manufacturing, Putin noted that the nation is maintaining its position as a leading global producer of agricultural crops.
Despite current challenges, including sanctions, infrastructure hurdles, export obstacles, and rising costs, Putin stated that the national agro-industrial complex remains stable. He emphasized that the sector continues to ensure the country's food security. He also noted that animal production, including meat, milk, and eggs, remains at a good level.
The Russian government has pledged to continue providing systematic support to farmers. This assistance will address urgent issues such as fuel, product transportation, marketing, and the provision of seeds.
