Russia intensifies missile attacks on Kyiv
Russia has increased the frequency and intensity of missile attacks against Kyiv, leading to a surge in daily air raid alerts. An analysis of government data indicates that the capital is currently experiencing more daily air raid warnings than at any other point since the full-scale invasion began in 2022.
In early July, ballistic missile strikes resulted in the deaths of nearly 60 civilians. Similar large-scale attacks were recorded throughout August and September. The escalating nature of these strikes has significantly impacted the psychological well-being and safety of residents, forcing some to abandon their homes in the city for safer locations further from the capital.
