Russia intensifies propaganda and strikes against Ukraine

Russian propaganda has intensified, with Kremlin messaging claiming the imminent collapse of the Kyiv regime. Amidst these aggressive claims of impending victory, Russian officials have expressed skepticism regarding peace negotiations, with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stating that Europe lacks the capacity to resolve discussions due to what he described as the spread of 'nazism metastases.'

Simultaneously, Russia has increased its strikes on Ukrainian cities, exploiting a lack of air defense systems to target civilians. Recent attacks include a drone strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih on August 21, which killed at least 16 people and injured over 130, including 23 children. Security experts have also highlighted instances of Russian drone operators recording and boasting about the cold-blooded killing of civilians on social media.
