Russia intercepts 205 Ukrainian drones amid mass aerial attacks

Russia reported intercepting 205 Ukrainian drones during the early hours of Monday, targeting eight regions, Crimea, and the Black and Azov Seas. In the Bryansk region, authorities confirmed one civilian death in the village of Ponurovka following a drone strike. The Rostov region also saw over 50 drones intercepted across five cities and nine districts, though no casualties or material damage were reported there.

Following a massive wave of drone strikes that saw hundreds of aircraft launched against Russian territory, organizers of the 18th Spasskaya Bashnya International Military Music Festival have announced the event's postponement. Originally scheduled to begin in Moscow on August 21, the festival has been moved from 2026 to 2027. This decision follows recent large-scale aerial attacks that have targeted various Russian regions and the annexed Crimean Peninsula.
