Russia summons British diplomat over Ukraine drone deliveries
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the British chargé d'affaires in Moscow to issue a formal protest regarding the United Kingdom’s increased military support for Ukraine.
Russia cited the continuous delivery of drones and other advanced weapon systems as a primary cause for the protest, claiming such actions escalate the conflict and hinder political solutions. The Ministry stated that London’s policy makes the UK a participant in the hostilities.
Furthermore, Russia warned that all British military facilities located in Ukraine that are utilized to conduct strikes against Russian territory are considered legitimate targets. The Ministry emphasized that Russia reserves the right to respond under its right to self-defense.
