Russia claims destruction of 313 Ukrainian drones overnight
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 313 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight. The interceptions occurred across multiple Russian regions, including Moscow, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov, Tula, Krasnodar Krai, Crimea, and Tatarstan, as well as over the Black and Azov Seas.
In response to the drone activity, Russian forces conducted strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure and logistics centers. These included a transport hub in the Kyiv region and facilities in the port of Izmail.
On the Ukrainian side, the General Staff reported 242 armed clashes along the front lines, with intense fighting concentrated in the Pokrovsk sector. Ukrainian authorities also reported civilian casualties, including one death and several injuries in Odesa and Izmail, and a 17-year-old boy killed in Pavlohrad.
