Russia reports 325 Ukrainian drones intercepted amid cross-border strikes
Russia's Ministry of Defense reported that its air defenses intercepted 325 Ukrainian-type aerial vehicles overnight across 16 regions, as well as over the Azov and Black Seas.
Ukrainian drone strikes caused damage to an unnamed facility in Russia's Perm region, resulting in one civilian injury. In the Bryansk region, two people were injured. Additionally, Russian drones targeted a Ukrainian port in Reni, destroying weapons and military equipment warehouses, while strikes also hit a facility used for military purposes in Brovary, Kyiv region.
Separately, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced the arrest of a foreign citizen in the Murmansk region for attempting to illegally cross the Russian-Norwegian border. The individual, who identified as a drone and artificial intelligence expert, was allegedly involved in previous attempts to deploy FPV drones in Moscow. The FSB also noted the June detention of eight individuals accused of planning an attack with 35 FPV drones against a strategic defense company in the Moscow region.
