Russian drones hit Ukrainian logistics hubs and missile launcher in eastern Ukraine

On July 21‑22, 2026, the Russian Defence Ministry reported that Russian drones, identified as Geran‑4, destroyed two Ukrainian logistical centres in the city of Zaburzhig, aiming to disrupt supply chains for the Ukrainian armed forces.

Russian artillery also struck a 120 mm FIRBA multiple‑rocket‑launcher system and ten control points for Ukrainian drones, actions the ministry said resulted in the deaths of 77 Ukrainian soldiers in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. These attacks are part of the Russian special military operation that began on 24 February 2022, targeting Ukrainian military infrastructure and equipment.
