Russian Forces Intensify Assault on Slavansk and Kramatorsk, Ukraine

Russian military units are shifting the main thrust of their offensive to the Slavansk‑Kramatorsk axis in eastern Ukraine. Intensive shelling, massive air‑strike raids using KAB bombs, artillery and Shahed as well as maneuverable FPV drones are turning the cities into rubble. Analysts note that the Russian forces control fire up to about 40 km behind the front line, effectively isolating the urban agglomeration.

The attacks have also focused on the nearby town of Konstantinivka (also referred to as Kosťantynivka), where Russian troops are trying to infiltrate and capture positions to encircle Ukrainian defenders in Chasiv Yar. Ukrainian forces continue to eliminate large numbers of Russian infantry, but the constant aerial presence hampers logistics and movement. The report remarks, “Животът там става много опасен” (“life there becomes very dangerous”).
