Rıza Seyyar announces candidacy for Manisa Commodity Exchange presidency

Businessperson Rıza Seyyar has officially announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Manisa Commodity Exchange ahead of the organizational elections scheduled for October 5, 2026. Seyyar aims to increase the exchange's effectiveness within the local economy and provide solutions to the problems faced by its members.

With approximately 40 years of experience in agriculture, food industry, production, and export, Seyyar intends to implement a participatory management style based on collective intelligence and consultation. He emphasized that his goal is to advance Manisa's production power and strengthen the contributions of the exchange to the city's dynamic agricultural and industrial sectors.

Seyyar's professional background includes serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Aegean Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association from 2014 to 2018, holding various roles within the Turkish Exporters Assembly, and serving as a council member at the Manisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
