Älvsjö shooting: Saba Abraham killed in sports hall

Saba Abraham, a 24-year-old employee for the City of Stockholm, was shot and killed on Friday evening while working as a leader during a football match at the Kämpetorpshallen sports hall in Älvsjö. Abraham, who worked with local youth, is described by district director Lee Orberson as a highly respected colleague who had a significant positive impact on children in the area.

Two teenagers are currently in custody on suspicion of murder. Police are also searching for a third boy who was seen near the location of the incident.

A moment of silence will be held by the Älvsjö-Hägersten district administration on Wednesday at 18:00 to honor her memory. Residents in the area have expressed increased anxiety following the shooting, noting a heightened police presence and the use of mobile surveillance cameras in recent weeks.
