SABC to broadcast Bafana Bafana's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier

South Africa’s national broadcaster, SABC, has confirmed it will televise Bafana Bafana’s upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Eritrea. The Group D fixture is scheduled for Wednesday, 30 September, with a kick-off time of 18:00 SAST. Viewers can access the match via SABC 2, stream it on SABC Plus, or follow coverage through SABC Radio and SABC Sport.

Due to Eritrean stadiums failing to meet international requirements, the match will be held at Al Salam Stadium in Cairo, Egypt. South Africa enters the match following a 2-1 victory over Guinea, but head coach Pitso Mosimane faces selection challenges due to injuries to Teboho Mokoena and Aubrey Modiba. The team is also expected to monitor Eritrean striker Ali Suleiman closely.
