Saber Interactive announces World War Z Viral State update

Saber Interactive has announced the Viral State update for the cooperative action shooter World War Z, scheduled for release on November 12. The update will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

The update features a mix of free content and paid downloadable content (DLC). The premium Florida Episode, priced at $9.99, introduces a new campaign set across three large maps in Florida, including locations inspired by Miami and Key West. This expansion includes four new survivors: Val, Caesar, Moe, and Chris.

Free content for all players includes new weaponry, such as the heavy Microgun and the Dual Kama melee weapons. Additionally, the developer is overhauling the Daily Challenges system with a renovated interface, a new timer, and improved functionality for managing and selecting missions.
