Saber Interactive Extends Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Support with Confrontation Update

Saber Interactive has wrapped up the second year of post‑launch support for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 with a dual‑patch rollout. Patch 14, titled the “Confrontation Update,” launched on 28 July and adds two new PvP arenas – Sanctum and Facility – to the Eternal War mode, introduces weekly PvP rewards, and overhauls equipment progression so all gear is available from level 1. The update also brings a new mini‑boss, the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, to Operations mode, featuring teleportation, cloning and a powerful laser attack.

A separate update enables Steam Workshop support, allowing community‑created mods such as the Astartes Overhaul, which adds new classes, weapons and balance tweaks. Saber Interactive confirmed that support will continue for at least another year, with a detailed roadmap for the third year slated for release around the second anniversary in September.
