Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 updates

On 28 July 2026 Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive released Patch 14, the free “Confrontation Update” for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The update closed the game’s second year of post‑launch content, adding two new PvP arenas (Sanctum and Facility) to the Eternal War mode, introducing a new Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer enemy, and expanding the heroic weapon and armor line‑up with six weapon variants and three armor pieces. Season‑Pass 2 owners also received two cosmetic DLC packs.

A follow‑up report on 3 August 2026 confirmed the same patch rollout and added further details: weekly PvP reward cycles were introduced, equipment progression was overhauled so all gear is accessible from level 1, and Steam Workshop support was enabled, allowing community‑made mods such as the Astartes Overhaul. Saber Interactive pledged at least another year of support and said a third‑year content roadmap would be published around the game’s second anniversary in September.
