Sabor Barranquilla celebrates Caribbean culinary traditions

The 19th edition of Sabor Barranquilla will take place over four days, showcasing the culinary traditions and innovations of Colombia, Aruba, and Curaçao. The event aims to highlight the cultural richness of Caribbean cuisine through the participation of 52 chefs and cooks who will blend traditional recipes with modern techniques.

This year, fruits serve as the central theme, featured across various gastronomic experiences to emphasize their diversity. The festival includes an academic forum where researchers, scientists, historians, and producers will analyze the gastronomic, cultural, and scientific potential of fruits.

In addition to culinary displays, the event features a business meeting supported by the Chamber of Commerce to foster commercial connections within the gastronomic sector. Visitors can also access special offerings from 24 restaurants and enjoy daily musical performances representing regions such as La Guajira, Mompox, and Curaçao.
