Sade Traditional Village reconstruction estimated at Rp30 billion

The Indonesian Ministry of Culture is planning the reconstruction of the Sade Traditional Village in West Nusa Tenggara following a fire. Minister of Culture Fadli Zon stated during a working meeting with Commission X of the DPR RI that the estimated budget for the project ranges between Rp25 billion and Rp30 billion.

The reconstruction plan aims to rebuild 75 traditional houses, 65 kiosks, one mosque, and the surrounding area. To prevent future incidents, the Ministry is reviewing the village design, specifically addressing the close proximity of houses and the need for improved electrical installations and fire mitigation measures.

Coordination is underway with the Governor and the State Secretariat to ensure efficient management through the Directorate General of Cultural and Traditional Protection, preventing overlapping responsibilities among various involved ministries and agencies.
