Sadio Mané launches agro-industrial project in Senegal

Former Senegalese footballer Sadio Mané is launching a major agro-industrial project in his home region of Sédhiou through his brand, SM10 Agro. The initiative, named the Bambaly Agro-Industrial Park, will focus on the production and processing of fruit.

The project is set to span over 500 hectares in the Boudhié Mar area, located approximately five kilometers from Bambaly. Once fully operational, the facility aims to reach an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of processed fruit.

Socially, the project is expected to create more than 2,500 direct jobs, specifically targeting the local youth to combat unemployment in the Casamance region. Experts from the Confluence Group have already begun preliminary site studies to prepare for the commencement of construction.
