Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar reunite for Haiwaan

Director Priyadarshan and actors Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar are collaborating on the upcoming thriller Haiwaan. The film marks a significant reunion for Kumar and Khan, who have worked together since 1994.

The production reportedly reverses the actors' historical on-screen dynamic. While they previously featured in films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari where Kumar played the hero and Khan the villain, Haiwaan casts Kumar in a dark antagonist role and Khan as a visually challenged protagonist.

Priyadarshan has praised Khan’s professionalism and commitment, noting that the actor spends breaks reading books rather than using a phone. The director also mentioned a personal connection with Khan regarding their shared interest in former cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.
